Mobile App Set Up

In order to put your apps under your accounts and company name in Google Play and AppStore, under Apps, please take the following steps:

Creating Native App Accounts

Android / Google Play

Create a Google account

First, you need to have a Google account (as in Gmail). This will be the account associated with your Developer Account. If you already have a Google account, please login, and if you don't have one, please create a new account by following this link.

Sign up for a developer account

Click this link and sign up for a developer account by completing steps 1-4. Fill in your details under this page (the first three blue headlines are the most relevant). If there are any additional mandatory data fields, please fill them too as required. Note that a "Payment Profile" is not needed at this stage.

Give Appfront access to your account

In order for us to take part in your App publishing, we need to access your account. You can give us permissions by following the instructions on this page - please follow "Step 2".

The Appfront email address is support@appfront.ai

Our preferred permission levels is "Admin".

You can choose a more specific permission level, keeping in mind that our ability to support the account depends heavily on the permissions we are granted.

Apple AppStore

Open business

The first thing you should do is open account for your Organization, i.e., you need a Business account and NOT a personal account.

Create an Apple Developer Account

First, you need to have an Apple ID account (your Apple ID email and password). This will be the account associated with your Developer Account. Please notice that you enroll as an organization, therefore you need to have an Apple ID/account/email for your organization. Fill in your details by following the steps here.

Requesting D-U-N-S Number

You need a DUNS number to create a Business/organization account, which takes approximately 2-3 business days to get. Here is an Apple support page with more information regarding the DUNS number.

Give Appfront access to your account

Please add admin permissions to: support@appfront.ai in two places -

  1. Under Developer Resources, Give Appfront Access to Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles :

Claim your App Name

Used to have another app provider before Appfront? Your brand name is probably already in use, meaning that in order to upload an app under your brand name we will need you to reach out to Apple and claim your name rights.

Reach out to your Previous provider

First step, you should ask your previous app provider a request to remove the app from the stores. If that doesn't work or if you don't have an app provider, please follow the procedure outlined in the next section.

Reach out to Apple

Please contact apple using this link.

You can add our team to the process:

Let Apple know that you are the owner of your brand and that since someone is using this name right now, we therefore can't upload your app.

It should take a few days, after which you will receive a confirmation from Apple. Forward us the confirmation once you get it.

Transferring an App between store accounts:

Appstore

Please send the following details to our team:

Google Play

Next, enter Google Payments. On the left menu select Activity. Find and select the transaction for your developer account registration.

  • Tip: Search your transactions for β€œGoogle Play Developer.”

Your transaction ID is listed near the bottom of the transaction details. Registration transactions IDs are typically in one of the following formats:

  • 01234567890123456789.token.0123456789012345

  • 0.G.123456789012345

  • Registration-1234ab56-7c89-12d3-4567-8e91234567f8

  • PDS.1234-5678-9012-3456

We would also require your keystore in order to complete the transfer.

Privacy Policy / Terms of use ("TOU")

Overview

Creating your own privacy policy and TOU might take a long time and cost lots of money. In order to help our customers, we prepared a base documentation that you need to adopt and use for your own app.

You can find the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy both in our mobile and web apps in the customer's account page:

The section will explain how to update those sections.

IMPORTANT! This agreement template is between you and your customers. We do not take any responsibility for it and offer this as a free service to our customers. You may of course set any agreement you want instead.

IMPORTANT! These agreements are Appfront's property. You are allowed to use them as long as you are under agreement with Appfront.
